Gupta Server Installation for Windows NT server

1. Check for a Centura directory
2. If there is a Centura directory then rename it to Centura.old
3. Insert the CD
4. Run Setup.exe
5. Click next
6. Click SQL Server
7. Windows NT Server
8. Unclick Centura books
9. Click next
10. After the load completes choose WindowsNT and put the dot in server


11. Choose # of users




12. Choose Server Name-Default is server1-You can choose any name
13. Choose the directory, c:\centura. C:\log, c:\temp
14. No Password
15. Click on setup





16. Choose ONLY TCP/IP


17. Click OK
18. Click ok again
19. Exit
20. Start the SQL Server

Installing PG Server

1. Put in the disk and choose setup.exe
2. Choose workstation
3. Use a new pg.cfg file put the pg,cfg in the same spot for all the machines.
4. Each install wil be a mirror image of each other.
5. Under network choose Netbios or Netbios IPX
6. Choose PaperGate.PG Server, and DB utilities
7. Rename the path to c:\pg61\ and the config path to c:\pg61\config
8. The interface will depend on the scanner
9. Click OK and complete the installation
10. After install is completed go to the pg.ini file in the windows directory and add
[_dbase]
Servername={servername}

Installation is now complete


Start PaperGate Server

Installing PaperGate

1. Put in the disk and choose setup.exe
2. Choose workstation
3. Use a new pg.cfg file
4. Under network choose Netbios
5. Choose PaperGate, and DB utilities
6. Rename the path to c:\pg\ and the config path to c:\pg\config
7. The interface will depend on the scanner
8. Click OK and complete the installation

Servername={servername}


Installation is now complete
